Hi! I looked all over and couldn't find anything about this. Tonight my Oil Sensor Light came on. I looked in the owner's manual and could only find info about the Oil pressure or Oil Level light, but my light has the Oil picture with the word "sensor" next to it. So.. I'm wondering if this is a serious problem, if I need to take it in, or if it is something I can fix myself. I just got it back from the shop a couple weeks ago after my car caught on fire! So maybe it has something to do with that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

 

I'm pretty sure that it would just be the oil level sensor (on the bottom of the oil pan?). My A4 has the same icon in the display. I also get a oil level min. icon even though there is plenty of oil.
