So I got an oil change about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and yesterday I notice it saying- not a light but on the dashboard underneath where the mileage is posted- "SERVICE: OIL."

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm what could be the problem here? I JUST GOT AN OIL CHANGE!!!!!

Is my car just stupid or should I go back to where I got the oil change?

Thanks sandman BUT being an IDIOT i don't know what buttons you're refering to. I don't have the computer or whatever on my car I just have a little analog clock as well as the thing you push to reset miles. So looks like I'm stupid, not my car

sorry the buttons are refering to the left and right buttons on the dash.

first off what year is ur car?

 

It's a 1999.5 1.8T

 

look in the manual if u have one. if not...... the buttons im refering to are the stick like buttons on the bottom of the guage cluster.
