I just went throught the exact same thing last week. I am the 3rd owner and they had copies of all services and oil changes except for one. Transferred the CPO warranty for $150 and the fix only cost me $50 (they had the car for a week and paid for my rental as well). My pump screen was almost completely clogged but the rest of teh engine was immaculate and they showed me picture of the torn apart engine internals. She purrs like a kitten now. Also had my steering rack and tie rod ends replaced, replaced the door closure switch and fixed the fuel tank leak. Total cost of all repairs would have been $7,000+ out of pocket. That was the best $200 I have ever spent even though I only have 3 months of CPO warranty left.

try mobil clean 5000 or something of that brand, yeah if your against opec youll feel bad but it is really good stuff, and if your engine fails due to oil problems theyll cover your reapirs.
