yeah, tried everything i could. Defintely does not work. Have to go get that fixed here sometime.
Just blows cold air, any configuration of settings, just blows cool air.
What can be 'broken' about a heater? I though heater was a pretty simply mechanical aspect of a car?

If it just blows cold air it could be a number of things
1. Air lock in heater core... Warm the engine up, turn the heat on. Check the cooloant hoses going through the firewall from the engine compartment. They should both be warm. If not something is blocking the coolant from entering the heater core. Could just be air trapped in there and the system may need to be bled.
2. Bad electronics the move the flap valves and direct air around the heater core. Find someone with a VAGCOM and check the HVAC system for electrical faults.

also dont forget to factor bubbles in the coolant system. A air bubble in the cooling system will cause this issue as well. I would try burping the system but havuing the radiator cap off and start the car and allow all air to escape. Other then that a non operational blendor door could be the culprit, and or a clogged heater core like stated above. I would consider all these things when I have a no heat situation.
