Default Ok I failed :(

I went to take emissions test & i failed

codes are below.

P0150- o2 Sensor circuit (bank2 sensor 1)
P0401- EGR Flow Insufficent detected (friend says 1996 doesnt have EGR) WTF is EGR?
P0161- o2 sensor heater circuit (bank2 sensor 2)
P0158- o2 sensor circuit HIGH VOLTAGE (bank 2 sensor 2)
P1250- Manufacturer Specific code (looked this one up on my laptop) Says "Fuel Level too low"

Also......

Evaporative Test Result
Gas Cap Test FAIL/LEAKING

What's this mean?

Thanks in advanced guys... any help would be appreciated.

get VAG-COM on a laptop, clear your codes while your waiting in line, then tuck the cord and laptop away, and BAM just like that you passed emmissions

not so sure about that guys.. we do inspections at the shop I work at and in NC you have to go through a "drive cylce". Basically, the car stores the codes for 50 miles or 5days etc. based on your cars cycle. If you erase the code before you get it done the computer will still read it and usually says that the car is not ready for emissions testing, AKA the car still has stored codes present, even if your check engine light is not on. Anyway just letting you guys know what i do and maybe it will help.

PS NC uses the obd2 hook-up unlike a lot of places that still use the probe in the tailpipe

haha just before my test i lifted my hood and unpluged my battery while i was inline to clear my codes. too bad i failed, took me over 2 months to pass. i was 6x over the limit on just about everything, i was soooo rich that they only ran the test once and told me that i was not even close to passing
