^actually no, the AEB's internals are not forged. that was speculation for a long time. the ATW and AEB have the same bottom end btw
i have seen every type of engine (AEB/ATW/AWM/AMB)throw a rod or 3with the same power outputs (usually between 300 and 330Awhp) with the same 28 series turbos
the only thing that makes the AEB/ATW pistons and rods slightly better than the later year motors are the wrist pins.
20mm wrist pins = AEB/ATW
19mm wrist pins = AWM/AMB

you don't need internals as long as you run it on pump gas and below 20psi for daily driving... if you were to run around all day everyday on race gas and 25psi, you are making enough power to bend a rod..
You can easily run over 20psi on pump and stock rods. People even run 22psi daily on a gt2871r with stock 19mm wrist pin rods (get into rods more in a sec)

People STILL havent seen the limit of the stock pistons, even with 600hp+ Also, TORQUE breaks rods, not hp. This is why people can run well over 350whp with a 50trim or gt2871r .86 and break them with a faster spooling gt2871r making less hp.
and great choice on the turbo. you'll be very happy.. for the exhaust manifold. i recomend the treadstone manifold over the ATP one.

and anything over 8k rpms(sometimes over 7500k)you'll get what's called valve float. which is basically the valves are moving so fast that the stock valve springs aren't strong enough and have enough rebound to push the valves up enough between each engine cycle.. so if you plan on reving your already built engine past 7500rpms regularly, you should upgrade your valve springs also

Again, TORQUE breaks rods, not HP. To much low end torque breaks rods, this is why boost control and tunes are important. A bad tune/boost control can create a large tq spike which will kill a rod, if on a mild turbo upgrade which is deemed safe. This is why tuners like MIKA and Upsolute are so badly looked upon, not to mention low power outputs.

andtorque breaks driveline parts (axles/transmissions/shifterlinkage/etc..)
high hp + high reving + heat = broken rod
there is more stress on a rod with a motor spinning at 7000rpms making 200whp than there is on a rod when the motor is spinning at 4000rpms making 500wtq..
i forget the math, but every x amount of rpms you rise, the stress on the rods increses 10 fold. i'll see if i can look it up
