ok ok - step one...
Question about the borla exaust.
I see that they make it for the tip tranny , which I have. But it does not come with a downpipe.
So the gains must be minimal , right ?
Anyone know what they are ?

i was looking at the borla cat-back for a while, and when i went to go get one - the company recommended the neuspeed exhaust because it is a little bigger = better airflow. just fyi, but you probably already know that.
The neuspeed looks good to me as well...
Isnt th cat right after the turbo on our cars? I honestly havent paid that much attention... but if thats true, cat back should include the downpipe... since it would come after the cat... Remus makes an exhaust for these cars, that doesnt include the downpipe, and they sell it as a midpipe back.

True the cat is bolted up to the turbo so a catback exhaust is 3 parts.
1) downpipe
2) midpipe
3) muffler/tips
I did the APR catback it was a simple install took maybe an hour at work, I also installed a highflow cat which was quite labor intensive not to mention I had to run to Sears hardware for more tools.
Brrman: Nice. I like the look of the staggered tips
