ive looked through HID headlights and ive come across some nice ones, but then i find an HID conversion kit, so what is it that i need to buy? the kit and then the headlights or do the headlights just come with everything need and just need to be installed? an example of where i was looking was CARid.com and i looked up headlights for a 2000 a4 2.8 quattro, there should be 3 search results, the 2 headlight choices and the conversion kit choice...please what do i do?

 

CARid.com looks like you would need to buy the headlights AND the conversion kit.
The projector headlights they sell would use the bulbs you have on your car now.

My son got a kit for his 94 BMW 325is where the headlights came with the xenon bulbs. They look great but he already has moisture building up inside the lens... you get what you pay for.

Our 03 BMW 525i was already equipped with projector headlights with halogen bulbs from the factory so i just had to get the conversion kit. It's a nice upgrade for me because it seems the white lines in the road aren't as bright as they were 35 years ago!!
