Opinion? Oxygenated vs. Nonoxygenated fuel
I have a choice of gas stations where I live, and one has nonoxygenated fuel. I'm curious if anyone knows the benifit of going with that type of fuel. I filled up on my last tank, and I'm now down to 1/4 tank. I think I might have got 2 mpg better...but no performance gains.
Any thoughts?

nonoxygenated fuel is rare. if the company wasn't to lazy to produce it, and not illigal then it is cool. premium fuel without ethanol or MTBE (Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether) (octane boost bottles).
basicly nonoxyganeted gassoline is fuel without knoking addictives= better burning. ethanol and MTBE are just addictives which decrieses the burning speed of the fuel (simply put). its rare becouse its a bid expansive to produce, the oil refinary has to be very presise and carefull. becouse between regular and primium is very near.
also that type of fuel produces extra carbon monoxide. so it has plus and minus. you may ask what better. answer is propane (110 octane) or methane [CNG](125-135 octane).
way cleaner, no addictives, catalitices can be thrown out and forgot, minus loss of power propane 5 to 7% CNG 10 to 15%. if you have turbo in your car, just turn up the boost and you will have gain in your car up to 15% of HP and 20% of TQ.

Thanks for the great information... It is rare, I agree, however I have a gas station right down the street that sells it. I belive it was a little more exspensive. After figuring my MPG, I belive I came out a little better then regual fuel. My average MPG was 24. Before it was about 22.3, so obviously not worth the extra 10-25 cents per gallon.
Yeah I want to turn up the boost but it's new summer tires, or more boost. Humm....
