I've been looking into getting an a4 for a couple months now and was looking to spend around $6K for a decent V6 5-speed. I just came across this one on craigslist that's half that price. I was just wondering if this would be worth getting considering the mileage and the things that might need to be done to it. (ex. it mentions the catalytic converter and an exhaust rattle, how much would that cost to replace?) Do you think that this car is worth buying (it's almost exactly what i'm looking for) or is it just gonna be a money pit? thanx.

Just make sure the timing belt has been changed recently. Not a bad price though.

 

The car looks very clean, but lots mileage. Not a bad price but all the repairs could be costly.
