Hey well i jsut ordered a JHM short throw shifter for my B5 and i decided to get the 1" shorter shaft.
Im a little bit worrided beucase i dont want the height of the shifter to be too much shorter then the stock height. i want it to be dropped a little but i dont want the *** so low the the shifts are hard or need to much extra force. any imput would be great

Overall what i want is about 1-1 1/2 inch shorter then stock shift ***. is the 1 inch shorter shaft going to to make my shift *** **** lower then this ?

If you want a stock like appearance and feel just order it the standard size w/o the 1" shorter shaft[sm=smiley20.gif]
