turned out to be a philip head, still needed to go out and buy a set of screw drivers since i have nothing with me up at school

I agree, but I can still turn down the intensity with the ****, I have the option of turning it blazing hot, plus the dash looks much much sharper now. Kinda like the lexus GS dashes, they have the bright white lights, these are just red.

 

I dont know man... My lights are almost as bright as you have now. Cant see spending that much... Plus i like the dimmer lights ne ways. To each his own right?

 

yeah completely and totally, i agree it is definately a little steep on the price, figured why not since i needed to do the bulbs anyways, my speedometer bulbs had been out since i got the car from my sister a year. plus now the rest of the members have someone who tested it out and was the guinea pig to try it out on. I'm decently pleased with it, i like the bright lights.

I love the red, these are just brighter lights. Same color just sharper. Check the picture link farther up

 

I think I would rather fit LEDs in there... I can get the red LEDs I need for about 10~15 USD (cheaper for bulk).
1.2 W to 2.0 W is a huge gain but it is not worth the effort imho.

I want to put RGB full spectrum LEDs and some adjustments dials so I can change my interior light color anything I want.
Oh well.. gotta get the HID first. Only have the projectors now.

Recently put LEDs in the center brake light.
Feel like I get better response.
I will ship the extra parts (some LEDs and resistors) I have for very cheap if anyone want them.

 

explain how you plan on getting the leds to sit inside of there? how are you planning on wiring these up? curious i might chuck the lights and get leds instead, less of a power drain and brighter or equal output.
