ouch... coolant issues help needed

okay cool ill try change coolant tomarrow morning if hot air doesnt come out then ill look into that solution youve suggested thanx heaps dood

Yep, correct. Yep air sometimes stays in and blocks the passages. If you cant fit 2 gallons of coolent/water in the system then there is air in there. You may need to add coolant, start the car, bleed it, and add more coolent.

Need to find where the coolant is going. Check for external leaks and also check the oil cooler.

hey i think i found the problem, the plug that connects to the bottom of the coolant resevour was discounected, i just connected it, is there anyway it should go in, because i just plugged it in as soon as i heard the clicking noise, i dont want to run the car before i ask you guys to see if i should plug it in the other way around it has has a green wire with a yellow stripe and another brown wire...?

also I cant find the red **** to drain radiator, without taking the bumper off which i dont want to do, any tips on how i can find it?
