Ouestion for all u suspensaion guys
yea i decided that i will wait to gte eithe rcoilovers or a shock and springs combo. Im thinking the koni coilovers down the line. Like around christmas
the way that springs are wound is to increase the amount of resistance they create, the further they get pushed down, if you simple "cut your springs" you will compromise the amount of resistance you get, therefore LOOSENEING your suspension and blowing your shocks at the same time.
save money, and pay 650 for a set of h&r springs and some bilstien shoks from awetuning.com
its the best value i cold find, and you dont riskt fuking up ur exahust system because ur bottoming out all the time
hachii.. i love the 86, and the supra is my favorite car, i hope that you are not telling your friends to cut thier springs, because borro ony goes so far as to not hurting your car in the process, having it run at peak effeciency with the cheapest amount of money WITHOUT HURTING IT!!!

I didn't realize that cutting the springs would make the springs softer also, but i suppose that does make sense. But like everyone else on here says, if you get a good spring/shock combo or if you have the money full coilovers you definatly will not be disapointed.
