well.. one of my door handle covers on the outside (the part around the handle) is coming off.. Whenever someone tries to open the door it just loosens more and more.

Is there any kind of special way to reattach it? Like a glue?

It actually clips in so the problem is tht the tabs are most likely worn out and you will have to replace the handle piece and have it painted

 

bummer.. just take this one to the dealership? or is there a DIY or is it going to even save me any money by doing it myself... cost?

 

yea you could do it yourself and only pay for the handle and paint its not too hard

 

where can I find such a part?

oops, I have a '99 1.8t

 

Oh well.. I just looked at my bentley manual that I forgot I had and it looks like there's a lot of removing parts just to get the cover off.. I think I'll just use some glue

 

glue gun it works wonders just make sure its very clean before application
