Ive been getting this code alot, and ive only been getting it since ive gotten my GIAC flash.

What could it be?

If im driving on the highway and im accelerating around 120-150kph all of a sudden my cars power cuts out and i go into Limp mode.

When i scan the codes i get an Overboost/ Boost devation code.

Can anyone speculate?

I have gotten that code before too. is it negative deviation? or positive? if your dv and vac/boost lines are all good etc.. the only thing i could think of is to get a mbc and turn down the boost a bit. Ive done LOTS of searching on that code, and there is no good answer unfortunately. Ive probably cleared that code and gone into limp mode 5 or so times since i got chipped about a year ago. Everytime limp mode goes away after i restart and it only happens when im wot at very high rpms.

 

Yes that is MY PROBLEM exactly.

But i only get it at high rpms and on highway since im holding high rmps for such time.

Well i got a Turbo smart MBC. Ill try installing it tomorow and see how it goes. How do you have your installed? is it inline with you N75? or do you have it by its self with the N75 only pluged in.

 

I dont have a mbc. forgot to mention that ever since i replaced my ects a couple days ago i have done some high rpm wot runs and it doesnt go into limp mode anymore.. i cant be 100% sure about that yet cuz its only been 2 days.. But i had a too lean fault code along with my ects code and also the usual negative deviation code, im thinking the bad ects was leaning me out and causing the other 2 codes. Im also thinking that the ects has been on its way out for a while and is what was causing the frequent neg. deviation code after high rpm wot runs (neg. deviation=over boosting=too lean).
