remove coolant filler cap and run engine till the fan cuts in if the coolant blows out and the fan doesn't cut in then it could be a fan fuse/relay, if you make the fan permanently on and the water shoots out then suspect head gasket

so i just finished changing the temp sensor.... and it didnt work.... there is still an overheating issue..... the hoses are hot after the car has been running for a while so the t-stat is fine right? but i also noticed that the pass side fan wasnt turning on even when the temp alarm turned on inside the car.... so that makes me think it is a aux fan relay/switch.... im just gonna bring it to the shop 2morrow morning....

Well, I would think it would be throwing codes if it was the temp sensor.

Sounds like thermostat ok.

The passenger side fan is for the ac condensor I believe, so that shouldnt matter. Is the main fan turning?

Is your fluid level correct?

It sounds to me like you need to bleed air from the system.

If you want instructions do a search, or ask here. Its a good possibility this is the problem.

you should take the guys advice and bleed the system first. i would rather save the money before bringing it to someone who i dont trust with my car.

I had a problem with overheating too. My car was throwing temp warnings, but my temp guage was fine, my coolant was fine, and my fans were fine. It's been in the shop for a day now and they still haven't found the problem...

The ac condencer fan should turn on when its hot (not moving), mine did the same thing. check the fuse under the steering wheel ( not the side panal ) and replace it. its kind of hard to get too but what is not on these cars.... hope that helps
