my power steering assist varies with my rpm...... could it be that my tool that owned it before me put cr@p into it? don't know if it's my pump or if it's jsut the fluid.....

what p/s fluid is it and how much does it cost to do a flush?

mine does that..... but when the rpms are low it's almost manual steering....like all the power assist goes away so it's a b!tch to turn the wheel. Then if I blip the throttle and raise the rpm's the power assist kicks back in and i can turn the wheel.

So listening to me parallel park is hella funny, i'm like blipping/revving the engine to be able to turn hahaha... so whata think's the prob?

Apropriate fluid is Pentosin CHF 11S.

Google it or ebay and u'll find it.

I also have PS fluid leak I think and I'm gonna check it this weekend.

A question though: if steering rack is messed up, would i notice in normal driving? Also leak is pretty small. I think it takes like 3 weeks (or more) to deplete the reservoir.
