cam tension adjuster? whats that?

there is a timing belt tensioner, as well as a camshaft position sensor, and a camshaft valve timing adjuster.


my car is suffering from the same issue. i am going to try pulling out the camshaft position sensor and seeing if something is wrong with it. multiple resets doesn't solve it, it keeps comming back.

 

hey guys, i just had the same code pop up... I just bought the car a little over a week ago and had to take it back to the dealer a couple times already for a water pump issue. well they finally fixed it but today i got that code. I took it to the dealer, he reset it and gave me a bunch of pooh about how the car threw the code because of all the work being done to it. It hasn't come back but im interested to hear how everyone elses situation turns out.

the light came back on (predictably) after a couple days but some where between going through the car wash and filling up the light went back off!

does that make any sense to anyone?
