Default P0171 question

Gota codeP0171(lean bank 1)I used the search earlier and did some research. I cleaned my MAF at work today and inspected all my hoses from the posts I checked all the fore-mentioned.. Could my new diverter valve be the cause? Im trying to figure it out but working at a Chevy dealership does not prove to be much help on these Audis

If it were the MAF it would probably be lean on BOTH banks, you probably have a vaccum leak somewhere on the passenger's side, check all your vac lines.

Hey auditech79, he has a 1.8T - it's a one-bank engine.
Yeff24, clear the codes and see if it pops up again. Has it been running rough lately? The DV might be the cause if one of the lines came off...did you replace the original vacuum line to the DV, or did you re-use the old original one?

Yeah, I had to go into his 3previous posts tolook forwhat engine he had. I figured it would be easier that way than asking him and waiting for a reply...
