hey i been having some trouble with my a4 01. I just had it checked and i got this p0171. I was just wondering if anybody can help me out. I cleaned my mass air flow sensor but still having trouble.

if your maf is bad, cleaning it wont do a thing... you need a new one.. not a refurbished one either.

I kinda broke the connector to the maf sensor but i dont know if that will fix my problem. when i pedal to the metal i could hear a air leak. and causes my car to slow down. i tried to find the air leak by pouring water with soap to the cadd but couldnt findit.

could be a boost leak - tennis ball method is easy and effective

i disconected the battery and noticed that i gain my boost back to .10 (im stock) but afterwards it goes back to limp mode.. and i get CEL..... while i have my boost and i press on the gas doesnt go all the way it feels liike something is holding it back and just about when im about to let go off the gas the boost kicks in... so idk wat it could be...
any of u guys have any ideas wat it could be???? also my maf sensor connector or hardness one of the sticks inside is missing?! its been 2 months i been like this im starting to get frustated>.......
