P1340

P1340
00 1.8TQ
I just had some work done on my car, I had a new oil pump and turbo put on due to oil sludge problems. I also had a new camshaft position sensor put on. Now I'm getting a CEL. I went to autozone and had them pull the codes since I don'h have a Vag-Com.
P1340,Crankshaft-/Camshaft Pos.Sens.Signals Out of Sequence
P0140 Insufficient activity from Oxygen Sensor 2 in bank 1.
I plan on replacing the 02 sensor tomorrow, could this also cause it to throw the P1340 code? I'm trying to figure out why it is throwing this code even after I put a new camshaft sensor on it.
Also where is sensor 2 located at? I'm assuming this is the one on the cat?
Anyone have any idea's?

RE: P1340
The codes aren't related.
replace the o2, it should be the post-cat one.
For the CPS, I would take it back to the shop that installed it. Either the part is bad, or something is wrong with the way they installed it. When I did mine, I just screwed it on, and hooked up the harness to it. Pretty easy (once the t-belt is removed!) So, i would take it back and make them fix it. I would guess you got a bad part, or the harness is not securely on there.
Good luck.
