Default P1559 Error Code

Hey guys, got my vag-com today, what a tool! Anyway, the reason I bought one was because the car had always had a bit of a low idle, causing the a judder in the cabin on idle. I thought it was a mis-fire, so I changed leads and plugs, but sadly no change. Well, the vag-com brought up error 17967/p1559, which as I understand is "Idle speed control throttle position adaption malfunction". I have had a good look through the forum archives, but couldn't find anything specifically relating to this problem. Any ideas? Is my "Throttle valve control part (J338)" knackerd? I did a TBA recently after taking my car out of storage, so Im assuming that that wont do anything.

As ever, your wisdom is appreciated.

Cheers, Rob.

Not yet, my Vag-Com isnt fully activated yet, so havnt been able to. Would you expect it to work any different to the car's own tba?

Well sometimes the key in the ignition method doesn't work, in fact quite often it doesn't for whatever reason.
