Paint protection questions....
Hi,
Just bought a 2017 A4, Dealer mentioned that they could install a clear protective film on the front bumper, 15" up the hood, the side mirrors and trunk area, that would protect against rocks etc... $1400.00
My questions are:
Has anyone here had this done?
Was it worth it?
Does anyone have a picture of what the film looks like on the car?
Thanks.

I had it done on a new Nissan 370Z I bought. Worked like a charm. Kept paint free of chips, etc. Get it done while the car is brand new to protect from chips, rather than making them permanent. Clear-Bra. Different brands, etc. have advantages and disadvantages. That price is comparable to what I paid. I recommend it if it's done right. Check carefully for little bubbles under the plastic when job done. Don't pay until they get them all out. Be sure it's professionally applied. If done right you can't see the film unless you look very, very closely. You're the only one who knows it's there.
