Just paint it with the door closed and it will make a perfect line.

 

Thanks - doesn't look bad- but what do i do if the rubber pieces on the doors are old and wavy? And you still didn't answer about what I do in the crack between the doors. if i don't fill it in - you will be able to see gray plastic from the outside - of the inside door panel.

 

You can use trim gaurd if the rubber pieces are bad. I'm not sure what you mean about the crack in between the doors. You can see all the prepping I did from the pics.

 

if i paint my lowers...eventually would it wear off and you will start seeing the black plastic underneath the paint...or from like random stuff chipping the paint while driving on the roads and highways??

If you do it right it wont wear off. Chips, maybe but you would chip any paint if rocks hit it.

This is a year old post, the first guy had an excuse for bringin it back.

Do it yourself for $50 bucks and if you **** it up then get it done by a professional for ~$300.
