Kemp i think the valve cover looks alright, not my cup of tea IMO.
This arguing has to stop though, calling someone with a 12V a homo is just asking for trouble.

 

funny you mention that, i am an engineer. and that huge *** spoiler defanitly isnt necessary. do you see nascars with huge *** spoilers on them? sticking the spoiler 5 feet in the air isnt gonna make it any better, just more pronounced. really now...think before you make a comment like that. my comment was a joke.

 

not to get into it or anything, but the nascar spoilers are like 6-8" tall. And the new ones are more import style. As for the evo not needing it, yes and no. Its really on there because its basically a streetable version on the rally car. But if you drive with it on and then off. You would notice at highway speeds you are planted and then more unstable with it off. The TT didnt come with a spoiler when introduced. There was later a recall because of roll overs from high speed lane changes. The TT lip is about 4" tall.

Plus a evo wouldnt be an evo w/o it. Its been that way since like the evo III

 

im not really into speed....well ok maybe i am..but its not a big deal. if ppl have faster car than mine, thats good for them, bcuz im pretty sure someone else will have a faster car than theirs lol =P. I am still happy with what i have...seriously. haha just thinking about it...if i showed a picture of the car i previouslyhad you'd lose your appetite...

The 'huge ***' spoiler is so high in the air to be able to get a bite into the airflow. When the air flows across the roof of the car, it doesn't immediately drop down to the trunk lid, so, you have to get it high enough where you can actually generate enough enough downforce for it to be useful. If anything, the eBay/M3 style lip spoilers we have on our A4's are more rice than the wings on an Evo/STi because they are a pure cosmetic enhancement (that still looks damn good) but serves no actual purpose.

And vgo, it wasn't a Smart Car, it was a Honda Insight. The worlds coolest hybrid because it had a manual transmission.
