Default Painting Lower's Question

I read on Audizine that if I have the silver color LY7W, I can get the Duplicolor "Radiant Silver" and it should match well. I was wondering if anyone has used this paint on their lowers, AND, would I need to get a clear coat to go over it?

yes this is true!! the cool thing about painting the lowers is the fact
that the paint doesnt need to be an exact match because the texture
of the plastic being painted. it would be a different story if you were to
install S4 lowers, or if you were to smooth out ur stock ones.

Yeah that was me. Somewhat easy diy. You can use radiant silver, or brilliant silver. I'm not sure which is a better match, but I used radiant silver, and yes you should use a clear cote.
