i have a 2002 a4 3.0 6spd quattro and am interested in taking out the wood paneling and putting in carbon fiber. is this doable? if so, who is the best to do business with? i'm looking for something that i can install myself.

 

It is deffinately doable but i have heard it is a bitch to do, i think somone said it took 6-8hrs. Supposedly you got to remove the dash and other ****, but yeah i wouldn't like the wood trim either, but then again i wouldn't like the carbon fiber either i would go with like a brushed metal look or something like that. Its your car do as you please.

 

its all easy to take out except for the main beltline piece that crosses the dash - the entire dash has to be take out to get that piece off correctly (ie without breaking it)
