Hi guys, I've got a 99.5 A4 with the 2.8L 5spd, and am having a hard time finding bolt on power. The only thing I am solid on is the full Milltek Cat back. I am waivering on the GIAC chip,as it's only really good for 5hp. Last is an intake...who really makes the most effective? Will I see a better gain from the GIAC after doing the intake and exhaust? Opinions? Idea's?

+1 apart from nos thats the only real hp gain you'll get.

 

yep pretty much your only good option is a supercharger

 

Has anyone ever put No2 on thier cars? Especially the 1.8T? THat would be sick!!!

Oh yeah and +1 for the supercharger unless you want to attempt a remote turbo app. But good luck with that.

Well, in a perfect world, the PES S/C would be the way to go, but considering I have not purchased the car yet, and that a S/C would cost well over $5k installed,it would probabl be money better spent to go with an S4..

 

well if you havent purchased the car yet, then i would advise you to rethink your decesion on the 2.8, if you want mods..

the 1.8 is much more equppied to be modded
