hello, i just sold my truck and i am about to buy an A4. 98-01 body. most likey going to get a V6 because i like the dash design of 99 the best and the V6 produce more power..



what kind of modds are available for teh V6? such as headers, downpipe, cat-back, etc. i have not been able to find headers and other pipes but i see people with them, and forget to take down the company. any help is appreciated.

there are very little mods available (besides custom) for the v6 a4. I think greddy has catback exhaust and some companies offer a chip that will give you minimal gains

go with a 1.8T you can do so much more with it. I've owed two 2.8's and there wasnt mush i cold work with-but thats just my two cents

what the 99.5 have over the 99? and how do you know if its a 99.5, do they brag and point it out?

 

It has the 99 motor. 00 and up they're throttle by wire which is harder to tune. The 99.5 has the updated 00 body style though. Which includes 1 piece headlighte, different door handles, and different side markers.

 

the 99.5 has one piece headlights rectangular side indicators, and some other stuff basically the looks of a 2000 2001 but still non drive by wire, and better for tuning the only way to tell is the lights, and usually if your looking for one its not going to say 99.5 audi a4... because people outside of the audi enthusiast family dont really car about that stuff
