I have a 2001 1.8t. I am about to have some subs installed (the ones from my old car), and there is a "bass ****" for the amp, that runs from the amp in the trunk to wherever you want the **** to be (somewhere near the driver seat, obviously). The cord that connects the amp to the **** is just a regular telephone cord. I was wondering where the telephone Jack that is in front armrest goes? Perhaps wherever it ends, I could hook that up to the amp? That would be cool because inside the armrest would be a good place for the bass ****, and also so the Installers wouldn't have to run a new telephone cord all the way through my whole car. Any help would be appreciated.
