My grille is really faded i tried to use back to black and it ended up looking like crap to me and the chrome on mine is chipped up and looking crappy anyway from previous owners highway driving.

anyone got pics of the stock not rs4 grille blacked with the rings still chrome?

I don't, but I do have a full blackout on my car. The look grew on me very quickly.

 

Heres one of my car. Use plastidip on it and make sure you sand it and clean it real well before painting. I painted the rings to match the rims, just to be original
