Yeah, from what I understand and from the units I've sold and installed into customer's cars, the internal gyro shuts off the video screen when it detects movement over 3mph.

I went to the audio place yesterday, they said Pioneer hasnt updated all the models yet, only the AVICN1 top of the line model. Everything else if fair game, has no gyros, and can be grounded to play movies during motion

anyone wants to buy my old PIONEER PRIMIER receiver?!

AVICN1's will play video if you bypass the e-brake UNLESS you hook up the XM NavTraffic tuner...the AVICN2 and the AVICD1 will not play video by simply tricking the ebrake wire, regardless.
