Default Planned DIY *All Done* 1998.5 to 2k conversion(kinda) - 56k go wash my wheels

Well I got my new tail lights in the mail last night and I'm picking my new headlights (both are stock off a 2k), for some reason one needed a signature and one didn't. I will also get my HID kit in the mail on Thursday. Tonight I'm going to install the new tails so here is the plan:

#1 Do this DIY to convert to post-face lift tails http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext38.shtml
#2 Do this DIY to get some use out of the rear fogs https://www.audiforums.com/m_352232/tm.htm
I think that instead of soldering a wire between the two area's on the bulb holder I will just splice in a wire on the harness itself, I'm sure it would be even easier than soldering.
That should conclude my DIY's for this evening.

Planned DIY's for the immediate future:

#3 Since I just got a set of one-pc lights, off a 2k, I'm going to do clear corners first https://www.audiforums.com/m_232432/tm.htm
#4 &#5 After I find time I will have to complete the dreaded(by all pre-face lift owners) mod and install the lights https://www.audiforums.com/m_149303/tm.htm and while I'm at it I will also install a VVME H7 HID kit (purchased from Less_of_me) http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext52.shtml

Maybe do stage II in a month or so after I get back from my vacation.

my D2S kit should be here friday....my ecodes have been in my room for 3 weeks now, and I am tired of stepping over them. Thanks for taking that H7 kit off my hands.

Have you trimmed your fenders yet?

no, waiting to do that until the wife and I go visit my parents again - I hate living in an apartment[:@]. They frown upon doing any auto work in our underground garage(also no plug-ins down there). I'll just get everything ready to go - HID's installed and all siliconed up, clear corners done and do it all in a couple hours one weekend.
