PLEASE HELP!!! 2009 a4 2.0 turbo oil indicator issue
Hello all, here's my problem
New to the forum and looking for some help with my 2009 a4 2.0 turbo, 101k miles...
We purchased the car about 2 months ago and shortly after the oil light came on... changed the oil immediately which fixed the problem temporarily. It came on again and we took it to our local Audi dealer, and were told it was a problem with the oil pan plug and that it destroyed the threading. We also had a destroyed innercooler for the turbo. Had both issues replaced.
$1300 and 500 miles later the light came on again, and we returned it where they replaced the valves for us.
Solved the issue again temporarily and now the light is back on. I took it back and we are now being told the piston rings have moved and now basically we need to replace all the pistons and I'm getting an estimate of $4000!!!
We arent having any issues other than the light coming on, no smoke, etc. The indicator sensor HAS NOT been replaced... I am just not sure I'm buying this and need help please! any ideas??
Thank you for reading, sorry it was tl;dr
