Default PO411/secondary air inj sys incorrect flow
Just got a 2001 A4 1.8T. After one week, CEL comes on and OBD gives me this code? Any one know where to start? Thanks for your help...Courtney

incorrect flow detected
check air pump. air valve, air solenoid

or could be just a vacuum line broken but yes I had the same problem on my A4 and it was the combi valve

or could be just a vacuum line broken but yes I had the same problem on my A4 and it was the combi valve
definitly check your vacuum lines. i had the same light and it was one of the vacuum lines.. so far so good.. no more check engine light.

Here is a diagram...



#7 is the combi valve. #29 is the secondary air pump. There is also a fuse in the ECU box apparently.

nah you'll be fine. It's just for emissions on startup.

Where is the ECU box. I have read that it is on the drivers side, but none of the descriptions have really been specific enough for me to track it down.
