as i've asked miked- does anyone know if i can polish the outside of the spoke of 18" rs4 rims. is this wet and dry sanding? how much maintenance afterwards would it take? has anyone used anything by tunit? for €620 you get an extra 30hp and 40 ft/lb. it just plugs in and away you go.

 

P.S. would i need to take the tyres off to polish the outer rim?

nah his other post explains that the guy who mounted his tires scratched the hell out of them so he wnats to buff out the scratches if possible.

 

i mean polish to the extent of getting a mirror finish. maybe you call it something else? i need to hide scratches due to (completely)careless tyre fitting.

 

how deep is the scratch casue u will need something to fill it in though

that's oustanding. i always thought you just had to live with your scratches and scuffs. unfortunately i'd end up painting most of two of my wheels. they aren't badly scratched at all- they're lightly scratched and chipped all over. it's as if they were thrown on the ground.
