Default Polished Throttle Body and clean ICV

Just got finished with a little two day project of cleaning my Idle control valve and polishing my throttle body to a GLASS finish.

It completely fixed my idle problem and the polishing of the body makes the power band seem smoother alllll the way through, no lag in response anymore. Not a big change, but nice none the less

Here are some pics:

Not sure if the polishing did anything additional, but cleaning out the accumulated oil and carbon sure should.

didn't take to long, i just took my time and it was prolly total 5-6 hours. the time intensive part is actually polishing the body. I used a dremel "polishing stone", but i talked to my dad today who said scotch bright is what his porsche shop uses to polish intake manifolds, my next project

nice job on the tb. to bore it out bigger you can use magna steel and form it on the out side and then open up the whole opening of the small side. i am also planing on doing my IM they say it is a very long job. when you do the IM you will need a die grinder to do the job it is made out of aluminim nickel

what did you use to cleen the icv. i need to do that it is causing my almost stalling prob
