What do you guys think of Ported and Polished heads? BTW on a 99 Audi 2.8 q

Its really hard to say. it depends on the car engine, how well it was made from the factory and what thet moter really needs , but all in all it will be complemented most by supporting mods.

my friend keeps telling me to do it, I guess he knows a machine shop who does them well. I might do them ill get a deal for like 550 for both heads. If done even though it wont be for a while i will post how it goes. Its supposed to give me some crazy top end and i might also buy some aftermarket cams. A while ago I had ordered the supercharger but i didnt go through with the deal since i had other things to take care of so now im trying to find a way to get some nice naturally aspirated hp.

Do your exhaust mani, thats the main one.

550 for a 30v sounds good and ask to see some of their work. just to be sure

It is heavly dependent on supporting mods. any ware from loss of power to maybe 50 with full mods. just guessing
