Ported and Polished head
Speak for yourself, not everyone in here is stuped. Done it many times, and I would still strongly suggest to anyone wanting to take on this venture to first trash you friends head for practice.
You calling me stupid? Port and Polish your own head and you wont recieve the HP and flow advantage that a CNC mill can provide. BTW what do you use, a Dremel? Not to precise for a job like this.
So do you have a ported and polished head? Any pics of the process?

id have to say im with tex. if ur not using a cnc lathe u better back the fvck back from my head bc im not going through the pain for nothing. with a dremel or whatever else u use it will be sending the air/gases in all sorts of directions with the poor flow characteristics the cut ur gonna give it. cnc=precision
CNC, yeah thats nice, You think by chance that they ported and polished heads intakes or exhaust befor the CNC machine. well they kinda been doing it alot longer than you been alive. A drimle tool wont put out the power to port a head, I mean you could use it but it would take for ever. a few companies make electricly powered tools for this job but the most common method is a nematic di grinder. After you get done with a carbide bit removing the majority of the material you use something like this to smooth it out, smooth as glass. just to make my point, most of the race teems do there own porting a polishing BY HAND and they seem to be doing just fine.
