porting out ur intake

does this mean takin out the right lower grille to let more air thru cuz i have a 97 a4 1.8t

no, porting your intake involves some machining work. you bore out your intake manifold and polish it to increase flow rate and velocity...which means more HP

if im not mistaken is there such thing as porting out ur right fender? does it help ne thing to take the lower right side grill out?

it wouldn't be called "porting"... but yes, you could do that....but, it would only be beneficial if you had an aftermarket cold air intake, otherwise it makes no difference, really
