Default Post a pic of your B5 with H&R springs

I'll get this started, I just need to compare heights to see if I need new shocks or if the H&R is just too low for me. I have H&R and stock shocks right now.

I already busted an oil pan, plus we have tall speedbumps and my car will bottom out and scrape on them where you jack the car (frame?). Just sick of having to go sideways over speedbumps. Someone suggested that the reason my front is much lower than the rear is because the front shocks are blown. I need a pic of what the car will look like once I put new shocks in, or whether I should go w/ a sport suspension for more clearance.

Wish my H&R's actually lowered my car...I've still got about 2 inches of wheel gap on the front and at least an inch on the back. If you get a chance pull off your front wheels and have a look at those springs, make sure they haven't been cut(sadly some people do it [:@]). Technically shocks will just effect your dampening/rebound, your springs are what are controlling the ride height of your car. At any rate you should still get some good shocks in there, will make the cornering that much nicer

The guy I bought the car from said he had H&R's (which i have confirmed) and upgraded shocks, aparently the shocks were not upgraded as he said. And yes the oil pan sucked, $500 for me for absolutely no reason.

Shocks have nothing to do with the ride height. Shocks control how much the bounces when going over bumps. The springs are what determine the height.
