Default Power Steering Fluid 97 A4 Quattro 2.8L ?

Just wondering what I should do? I recently purchased a Audi. I love it. After changing the o2 sensors and a new cat, i noticed a power steering fluid leak from my resevoir. I believe who ever had the car before me put in the wrong powersteering fluid. I found a bottle of power steering fluid in the trunkand it don't look like the oem for the car. The car makes a odd sound at start up just when turning the wheel. My question is should i drain the powersteering fluid that is in their now then refill with the oem stuff (Pentosin)? What kind of problems would i be looking at?
Peace KB

you should always use oem power steering fluid. first off it is not your typical fluid it is specal mineral oil. i go through 1 bottle per year. my clamps are warn out and leak a little i have been doing this for 5+ years now. btw it is like $20 a bottle

yes i would flush it out and replace it with the correct stuff
