Hi all

I just inherited an A4 1.9TDI from about 1998.

Turbo works great until i get to about 60MPH.

Then power dies, and it takes ages to get to 70+.

If i hit a hill or a headwind the car slows considerably.

Went to mechanic who change the Mass Airflow Meter.

I cleaned the air filter too.

Problem persists.

Friend said it probably isnt the turbo, because turbo works nicely under 60 - but it might be the solenoids.

Anyone have any experience? Ideas? things i can check? etc?
