yeah I also got the wrong one. Emil was looking today for me to find the right one.

Where did you get yours ?

 

i first bought one from ECStuning and it was for the 2.0, than i bought one off a guy at votrex, but its for the DBW, now im trying to find another one for my nDBW. im starting to get pissed.

 

maf shipped out! =) pm'd the overnight tracking# bud!

i finally located one at a wholesaler we go to for oe parts. they have 40 in stock of these (but only a few of the TT225 MAFs). so that's good news for the nDBW A4's.. and not so good news for the DBW's..

also.. some more bad news is that the price on them have skyrocketed again. they were down to $90 retail through dealers recently, but now they're back to $175!.. and wholesale $120! eek! of course, this includes a brand new maf sensor too of course.

the one i got from the wholesaler was $103 our cost.

we'll have to get them some other way. we'll have to find out how kompresd and the others are just selling the housings.. or just have our own 3" maf housings manufactured.

at least i got one for arif for now (sensor included so you should be able to just pop it in)! =)

 

Renn Art is doing an awesome job by helping out arif. If I ever do get an eliminator I will go for the renn art kit.

I seriously haven't seen any company out there that will give out parts like this without charging at all.

 

i think the ones kopressed gets or whatever are for the DBW, and same for the guy at vortex. ill call the dealership tomorrow and see what they will charge.....

 

Yeah, the one's K0mpresd has are DBW. I got one. I know a guy who owns a vw salvage yard. I called him yesterday and he said he has a few of the ndbw maf's, but he wants $50 each. I can probably get it cheaper if I drive down there. If you need me to get one Robert just let me know and I'll go get it and ship it to you.

haha I think I'll come to Turkey in August. One of my friend, in Istanbul, also wants to get same setup, he is just waiting the result.
