Well dont you have about 2 elbow fittings on the DV? Maybe the air just isnt circulating right? I dont think it could break-that dv is beastly, but you could check it out.

Clearly, car was fine, till I pulled 25psi when we entering highway (Jason knows the huge pull car made when we entering 315north) then no more boost.

Something happen that huge boost and maybe DV got bad or mbc got bad no idea, something else because I still run Bill Gates Rich

Arif- What did you use to plug the hole in the intercooler?

 

25 psi isnt going to ruin a dv. those things can handle plenty. that mbc u have, no offense, looks like a pos. ilearned that my first time when i bought a turbontics. so i went with a hallmanpro and yet i still have to crack it open and play with it so that it works right. it seems they can get stuck inside and cause all kinds of problems. there is a way to test if it is ur mbc but u need to be careful when doining it. just disconnect the line that comes from the compressor to the mbc. go drive it and let it build boost to say 15 psi and let off the gas bc if u dont that thing will make boost all the up to 35 some psi. if it does build boost then ur mbc is bad if it doesnt u have another problem. i think u should get a leak down test done if it isnt ur mbc

I asked the guy I need something to close a hole , he said it should do it you know the strong one. I put that one and zip tied around.

yeah I forget the check that hole, I totaly forget about it maybe the problem is that hole.

That would suck if your turbo ate some duct tape! But it wouldnt make its way through the intercooler to the turbo would it??

 

no it would suck it into the engine but on a side note it wouldnt suck it it would blow it....haha that sounds funny

 

right.. I was backwards on the suckage.... Either way that would suck... Or blow.. Better unzip the bumper and check it out arif!
