Just thought I'd let you know I've searched the archives, but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for.

Anywho, can someone tell me what the premium package is for an '03 1.8t quattro sedan? In searching the web, i've seen different sites tell me different things.

I know the sports package is separate, as well as the cold weather package (heated seats). But what exactly is the premium package.

Premium package on a B6 A4 is

Glass Sunroof, (w, power, tilt, slide.)
Homelink remote transmitter, (Garage door opener)
Auto-Dimming rear-view mirror with compass
Auto-Dimming exterior mirrors
Memory for Drivers side seat adjustment
Memory for Drivers side mirror position
Xenon Headlights
Multi-function steering wheel. (only on auto transmission.)

 

So basically, if it has the power sunroof, homelink, it has the premium package?

Also, what is the multi-function steering wheel? All the b6's i've looked at don't have anything on the steering wheel - just the cruise control and blinker levers.

 

It's going to be a 4-spoke steering wheel with buttons on either side of the wheel, between the upper & lower spokes.

Are you sure that is for a 2003 1.8t sedan (not avant)? I've looked at a few that say they have the premium package, but have never seen that 4 spoke steering wheel with the controls.

 

Yes, the 3 spoke steering wheel with controls is available on the sedan and the avant.
However, they are not very common. It is possible to have all the other premium options w/o that SW.

If you have a B6 A4 with a tip tranny (w or w/o premium)you're gonna have the tip buttons on SW instead of the multi-function buttons.
