premium or regular ? does it matter
Do you think your engines are tuned differently? They would have to be yeah? I freaked out when I heard the highest you could get was like 93 or something. I get about 450km (281 miles) to a tank when I run 91 octane & I get about 600km (375 miles) to a tank of 98 octance. I know thats crappy but the only driving I do is Stop/Start in traffic pretty much.
i was in Vegas last week and they were charging $3.54 for premium. That's right, 3. It's no mystery that gas prices suck, just gotta deal with it. (and really, putting in gas that's 85 oct and costs 2.25, isn't gonna save you much money over putting in 91 oct that costs 2.45) at least not for the problems it will cause you.
WOW.... How come you guys are getting charged nearly the same as us? That's unreal. Seriously guys, for the sake of your engines just run as high a octane fuel as possible. I think that should just about cover it. :-)

94? Dont they have 91 in Indy?
94? Dont they have 91 in Indy?
But certain stations likle Gas America or Sunoco (where I go) carry 94 oct.
wow .... with all the other cars i've owned ( only 2 ) haha ... but i've never realized how much buying 91 octane can make a difference .... before i had a rough and low idle and now with the 91 octane it idles back to normal around 1k ... and alot smoother ...
We are told that we should never run anything below a 95 Octane in our Audi's in Australia. Apparently its bad for them, I don't really know how much truth there is to that but who knows.
