Problem...

somthin to ask...
my temp gauge moves some times... to like from middle to like below the middle point... i dont how to explain... but the needle just goes from the middle point to like below middle ... .. when i drve my car no problem with heating or anything oild temps are where they are suppose to be but the temp gauage moves from like 90 to like around 40 or below mark.. only happens too when i hammer the gas to change lanes or driving fast... what could the problem be i dont wanan take to audi and pay arm and leg for they dignostics.. fee... i had a alitma before 1998 i have never seen this happen... i am worried... please help

It sounds to me like a ground wire . . .do you accelearte and the temp gauge moves? do you stop accelarating and goes back to normal? Have you checked the wire that plugs into the engine temp sensor? All data is welcome in order to close in

that's your coolant temp sensor...it costs either 7 or 13 bucks at www.ecstuning.com depending on what color you have, green or blue..
