What engine do you even have? 2.8L or 1.8T There are a couple of problem areas that leak coolant on both motors that you won't find hit the ground.

Oh yeah i see it in your sig. Alright here is what you have to do, first you need to get a good flash light and go down the the autoparts store and get yourself a small mirror, kinda like the ones the dentist uses to see behind your teeth. The most likely place is gonna be your coolant flange, its only gonna leak when its hot and when it does the coolant pools on top of the transmission/exhaust so you never see it hit the ground, and eventually evaporates or falls off the tranny when your driving. You need to get that little mirror back there and make absolutely sure there is no coolant trails running down the back of the cylinder head, you should see a white trail. If you find nothing there then use you mirror again and look under the intake manifold by the thermostat housing. There is a little coolant plug with a rubber o ring around it that only leaks when the engine is cold. Thereis a recent TSB AUDI just released for it, that has symptoms of engine overheating and the heater doesn't work as well as it should. So flip on your heater and see if the temp out of the ducts are hot. Now when you're looking with the mirror under the intake manifold your looking just behind the thermostat housing for a small white trail, kinda like you would see where the flange is. Now if you see no problems there and you know the coolant resivior is not leaking your head gasket is blown, and its gonna get worse with overheating.

wow I feel for ya bro my sister had a very similiar problem in her Jeep and mechanic after mechanic couldnt figure it out untill it was too late and we had to put a whole new engine in. It was the head gasket in her case and why nobody could figure that out is beyond me. Anyways man I hope everything goes well for you. good luck bro.

ok so i checked under the hood and looked back by the coolant flange cuz i noticed it smokin a little bit when i turned the car on. i looked underneath it and there's quite a few white spots where it looks like water leaked out and evaporated. so could this be what's causing my problems? would my oil get hot faster because my coolant is low and mainly water? also is my coolant flange busted or is it most likely just the o-rings that need replacing?

I had the same problem on my ranger. I think you have a blown head gasket. I also gave up on anti-freeze in that and just ran straight water. It ran out then I filled it back up when I started overheating. I havn't had any problems like that in my Audi but good luck.

Yeah a leaking coolant flange can cause the engine to overheat if its been leaking a while. The o-ring is the only thing that needs replacing but commonly the flange gets trashed when removing it so just replace the whole flange, it comes with a new o ring. Its only like $50 at the dealer.
Im sorry bro that does suck, if you're planning on DIY its about as hard as doing a headgasket too.
You'll probably go through then entire alphabet of curse words before you even get it out.
Plan on spending about 6-8 hours doing the job if you haven't done one before.
